Opening of the Abu Dhabi Children's Library, Cultural Foundation Building.

We recently attended the opening of the new children’s library at the Cultural Foundation in Abu Dhabi. Suhail’s book, ‘The Boy who knew the Mountains’ is one of the featured books. This library is just amazing. So much thought has gone into making it a real community space. There are quiet areas, sensory friendly spaces, loads of activities, and an extensive book collection. It’s all part of an inclusive community where everyone is welcome to explore and feel at home.

We were also honoured to conduct the first author book reading in the library. Thank you to the library staff and to everyone who attended the event.

The Boy who knew the Mountains will be conducting a book reading event at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature on March 8th at 11.30am. Location: Events Centre, Intercontinental Hotel Festival City, Dubai, UAE, storytelling corner. Hope to see you there!

Collaborative art projects based on scenes from both books!

Suhail met with HH Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, and presented a copy of his new book 'Suhail's Abu Dhabi Adventure.' We are very grateful to Sheikh Nahyan for his kindness and hospitality.
